Day 1: Puerto Maldonado to Tambopata Lodge Inn – Rainforest Wild Peru

Pickup from the bus terminal or airport and registration at the main office.
Departure at 8:30 a.m. for the Rainforest Wild Peru tour.
Private transport for a 2-hour journey to the port.
50-minute boat ride along the Tambopata River, observing wildlife.
Arrival at Tambopata Lodge Inn, welcomed with a typical Amazonian soft drink.
Lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon guided walk in the primary forest, exploring diverse flora and fauna.
Dinner at the lodge.
Nocturnal activity with lanterns to observe alligators, capybaras, and potentially nocturnal felines.
Return to the lodge for rest.

Day 2: Tambopata Adventure to Reserve Center Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho – Rainforest Wild Peru

Early start at 5:00 a.m.
Boat journey upstream the Tambopata River for 1 hour and 20 minutes, enjoying sunrise wildlife spotting.
Visit the Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho to observe colorful parrots and macaws.
Breakfast during the observation.
Boat journey back to Tambopata Lodge Inn.
Explore the Research Center to learn about flora and fauna.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
Night walk to observe nocturnal species.
Rest at Tambopata Lodge Inn.

Day 3: Refuge Center Tambopata Lodge Inn to Sandoval Lake Reserve – Rainforest Wild Peru

Wake up to the sounds of birds and howler monkeys.
Breakfast and boat journey downriver for 50 minutes to the port.
Private transport for 2 hours back to Puerto Maldonado.
Prepare for the Sandoval Lake Reserve tour at the office.
Boat ride along the Madre de Dios River for 45 minutes.
Register at the Sandoval del Tambopata Lake Reserve control post.
1-hour 30-minute walk observing different species.
Canoe ride to Sandoval Lake Lodge.
Explore the flora and fauna around the lake.
Night walk to observe nocturnal animals.
Overnight stay at Sandoval Lake Lodge.

Day 4: Refuge Center Sandoval Lake to Puerto Maldonado and Airport/Bus Station – Rainforest Wild Peru

Early start before dawn between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m.
Visit the palm tree lick to observe macaws, parrots, and parakeets.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Visit the “route of the giant trees” to learn about various tree species.
Learn about medicinal plants used by indigenous and local people.
Observation of Giant river otters in Sandoval Lake.
Breakfast with local families.
Last walk in another primary forest.
Swimming in the lake and lunch.
Canoe ride followed by a walk and then a boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado.
Drop-off at the office or airport/bus station, depending on the airline schedules.

Day 1:

Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Lodge Inn  .Rainforest Wild Peru .

Rainforest Wild Peru .We will pick you up from Bus terminal or airport then we will go to our main office to register where you can leave some things and take what is necessary  the Rainforest Wild Peru . For the 4 day tour we will start at 8:30 a.m. We will take our private transport for 2 hours to the port. Tambopata where our boat and motorist will be waiting for us to continue our trip to Tambopata River for 50 minutes where we will observe different species such as birds, turtles, capybaras, white alligators ect if we have the opportunity to see the king of the jungle (Jaguar) who are taking the sun or tired on the beaches then we will arrive at our hostel “TAMBOPATA LODGE INN” we will welcome you with typical aphrodisiac soft drink of the amazonia accommodation in your respective room lunch In the afternoon we will take a walk in the primary forest full of millenary trees that coexist with many creatures like, insects, spiders, horribles, toads , butterflies, monkeys and some mammals ect After dinner we will do a nocturnal activity with our lanterns to observe alligators, capybaras and maybe some feline that is near the river at night that they naturally hunt at night. After this activity return to our hostel to rest in their respective room .

DAY 2:

Tambopata Adventure to Reserve Center  Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho .Rainforest Wild Peru.

.Today we will get up early 5:00 am where we will take our boat by travel upstream the tambopata for 1 hour 20 minutes enjoying a wonderful sunrise with a chance to see the king of the jungle (Jaguar) or anaconda on the shores of our Tambopata National Reserve. we will reach the Clay lick. A comfortable giant blind, located few distance meters away from the Clay Lick enables you to have the best possible position for the show that will be displayed by the birds. The blind is located so close to the lick that you will not even need zoom on you cameras! As the sun rises over century-old trees, an explosion of life and color will burst before our eyes as hundreds of parrots and dozens of Macaws eat clay in order to get their right PH balance leveled. In groups of twos and threes the red-and-greed as well as scarlet Macaws come flapping in, landing in the treetops main The Macaws will finally decide to come down and make a colorful and noisy display on the naked banks, getting all the clay they can from the hard surface. While they feast on the sodium sediments, we have the unique opportunity to enjoy nothing but a healthy and remarkable breakfast as we watch the show (so yes, sit back and relax). After this activity we will take our boat to Tambopata Lodge Inn  in the afternoon we explorer to   (RESEARCH CENTER,) research center one of the best in the world to know the flora and fauna as. Monkeys, wild pigs, tapir, giant trees, medicinal trees after this activity we will return to our camp that is located limit of the Tambopata National Reserve of the Bahuaja Sonene National Park ; After dinner we will make a walk to see different species that come out at night to look for their food then we will return to our TAMBOPATA LODGE INN  to rest..

Day 3:

Refuce Center Tambopata Lodge Inn  to sandoval Lake Reserve  .Rainforest Wild Peru.

We will wake up with the sounds of the birds and probably howler monkeys, will get our breakfast and travel downriver with boat 50 minutes untill port where is waiting us our private transport for 2 hours back to Puerto Maldonado after that to go our office where you can leave your things and bring the necessary things with you for the Sandoval lake reserve tour. There we will go to port where our motor boat awaits us . From there we will make our trip along the Madre de Dios River approximately 45 minutes until we reach Reach the control post of the Sandoval del Tambopata Lake Reserve where we will register. From there we will start the walk of 1 hour 30 minutes making stops and observe different species such as plants, birds, insects, butterflies and some species of monkeys. We will arrive at a small port where we will board a canoe in a narrow canal surrounded by forest, that leads to the open waters of the. Lake Sandoval, which allows us to see an excellent scenic beauty between the water and the palm trees and large aguajales we hear strange noises of other animals that surprise us with their presence, toads, migratory birds as we cross the lake we will arrive to our lodge  that is located 4 minutes from the port of Sandoval Lake. Accommodation in our private room with shower and bath after a short rest we will explore the flora and fauna observed by some species that live in their natural habitat. After dinner we will do a night walk Equipped with a lantern or head lamp, we will make a night walk in the forest to look for the nocturnal monkey (Musmuqui), frogs, snakes and insects that are active during the night. We will return to our Lodge the night we will spend in our comfortable rooms.

Tours Day 4:

Refuge Center  Sandoval Lake to Puerto Maldonado and Airport/ Bus Station.

This day we will start very early, before dawn between 4:30 and 5:00 am. We will visit the spectacular palm tree lick to observe the ambassadors of the Amazon, the macaws, parrots and parakeets. This is one of the few places where we can observe how they tear into a palm trunck to get to the nutrients (the trunks have high concentrations of sodium). We will return to the lodge to enjoy our breakfast and a short break. Continuing our activities, we will visit the “route of the giant trees” with many different species including timber trees that are important for the economy of the region. Some of the trees are 100 to 200 years old. We will learn about the uses of medicinal plants that indigenous people and local people use. Before breakfast, we will go to observe and try to get good pictures about the Giant river otters in Sandoval Lake, they are the most sandoval lakeendangered mammal in the rain forest, the population of them is not many, and they have a very interesting behavior. After breakfast with the local families we will cross the lake and go for our last walk inmachin another primary forest, many lianas, and palms trees, we will still have many things to talk and respond your questions. We can swim in the lake and we will get our lunch and will take our canoe first, then walk and then the main boat in the Madre de Dios River to go back to Puerto Maldonado  our office and the airport. Depending on airline schedules, this may require dawn departures.
