Your guide meets you at the airport, bus station, or hotel. After a brief city stop for essentials, drive 90 minutes to Filadelfia, then board a 30-minute riverboat to Treehouse Inn.

Enjoy a welcome drink, check into your private cabaña, and settle in.

Afternoon: Guided jungle walk to learn about plants and wildlife—monkeys, macaws, and toucans are common sights.

Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado – Journey to the Amazon

Your jungle adventure begins when your official tour guide greets you upon arrival at the airport, bus station, or your hotel in Puerto Maldonado.

After a short stop in the city center for any last-minute shopping (batteries, rain poncho, flashlight, etc.), enjoy a 90-minute drive through fields and farms to the river port community of Filadelfia.

From there, embark on a 30-minute motorboat ride along the Tambopata River, where you may spot local people working on artisanal mining along the banks.

Upon arrival at Treehouse Inn (Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick), check in at the main house and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink made from local fruits. Settle into your private cabaña—each named after a local indigenous tribe—and relax. All meals and beverages are prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Afternoon: Introduction to the Jungle

Your guide will lead you on a botanical walk through the forest, where you’ll encounter towering trees, monkeys, macaws (guacamayos), toucans, and other wildlife. Learn about the ecosystem and familiarize yourself with the surroundings.

Evening: Jungle Night Walk
