Following a quick check-in at the ranger station, keep your camera ready — the riverbanks are often home to tapirs, capybaras, caimans, and playful monkeys.

At the clay lick, you’ll witness dozens of vibrantly colored macaws, parrots, and parakeets gathering to feed on the mineral-rich clay cliffs. This behavior provides essential nutrients for the birds and creates one of the most iconic wildlife spectacles in South America.
