Jungle Adventure Tambopata: With respect to the tourist attractions in jungle adventure tambopata, there are many species in danger of extinction that
they still maintain healthy populations in these Tambopata jungle ANP, such as the river wolf (Pteronura brasiliensis), jaguar (Panthera onca), jaguarundi (Herpailurus yaguarundi), tigrillo (Leopardus pardalis), horsehair wolf (Chrisocyon brachirus), mountain dogs (Speothus venaticus and Atelocynus microtis), swamp deer (Blastocerus dichotomus), giant anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla), giant armadillo (Priodontes maximus), as well as the harpy eagle (Harpia harpyja), crested eagle (Morphous guianensis), black alligator (Melanosuchus niger), white alligator (Caiman crocodilus), and taricaya (Podocnemis unifilis). The ANP tambopata macaw clay licks harbor 1,300 species of birds (10% of the world total), including 32 species of parrots in jungle adventure; 200 species of mammals (4% of the world total), more than 1,200 species of butterflies (10% of the world total), as well as 10,000 species of plants (Dearlove et al., 2001). In terms of attractive landscape there are many of the locally called “collpas”, where birds and mammals tend to concentrate to ingest clay and salts, in addition to lakes, lakes, rivers and streams in and around which a tourist can appreciate the typical fauna of the Neotropical humid forest.
